Urban Decay's Naked Basics Palette Review

This palette is a must have for ages 12+. This Urban Decay palette is around $27 at Sephora and is totally worth every penny. It comes with six shades and features Venus, Foxy, Naked2, Crave, Faint, and my favorite Walk of Shame or W.O.S . These shades work as a great base for more dramatic looks but you can use all these eye shadows like I do for a more nude look. They are mattes so the shadows are buttery and amazingly pigmented and the palette is portable and is my must take item when traveling. They blend together beautifully to make smokey eye looks and also stay on for a long time. As long as you tap your brush before applying it isn't chalky. Instead of paying $50 for the full Naked and Naked2 palettes you get all you need for much cheaper. Being a student it's a blessing to have all my needed colors in one palette rather than going through my make up for certain colors when I'm in a rush. Final rating 9.0 out of 10.0
-The Venus is a very shimmer-like white color. It reminds me of snow and is great to highlight your brow bone or apply close to your tear duct to make your eyes look bigger.
-Foxy is a good base color, reminds me of buttercream icing.
-W.O.S is a beautiful, creative color. Great for young teenage girls to wear to compliment their eyes without wearing a pound of makeup. This eye shadow is more of a peachy color.
-Naked2 is a brownish grey color. It's great to outline your crease with or to use when blending to add more definition.
- Faint is a darkish brown shadow also good to use around your crease. While it compliments many looks it resembles MAC'S mulch but without a ton of shimmer.
- Crave is one of my favorite very black eye shadows. Its perfect to use just as eyeliner.
